Top Floor Class Rules

A friendly guide to keeping our hallways happy

Top Floor is a shared space — which means you’ll cross paths with plenty of fellow “classmates.” To keep things running smoothly on our third‑floor campus, we ask that everyone follow these simple Class Rules. Members who regularly break them or make the space unpleasant for others may be unenrolled from the club.

Every nook of Top Floor has been intentionally arranged — think of it like seating charts for grown ups. Please don’t rearrange chairs, tables, cushions, or anything else. The room setup is part of the vibe.

Snacks = totally cool.
Full meals = not part of the curriculum.

Because strong smells and messy meals can disrupt the learning environment, we ask that you save larger lunches and dinners for outside the club.

Top Floor isn’t a homeroom desk for all day setups. Please skip anything beyond your laptop — no big external monitors or sprawling workstation spreads that overflow into someone else’s study zone.

In our library inspired areas, please refrain from calls, meetings, and Zooms. If you wouldn’t whisper it to a librarian, save it for another space.

Speakerphone anywhere in the club = automatic detention.

Casual in person conversations are great in the café area — just keep an eye on your volume. For calls or virtual meetings, hop into a phone booth (if available) or step outside when the weather behaves.

Private rooms and phone booths must be booked before you use them — no pop quizzes or surprise drop‑ins.

Remember to check in within 10 minutes of your reservation starting, or your room may be reassigned to another member who needs it.

Before you head out, tidy your workspace so the next Top Floor scholar walks into a fresh start.
